The Product Testing Engineer interacts with other engineering roles to define, perform, document, analyze, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and evaluate product modifications.
Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions.
Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Will normally complete assignments independently with a minimum amount of supervision and instruction.
May lead and direct the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Testing - R&D, life testing, and product improvementsSupport attaining and maintaining product safety certifications and related record keepingTechnical Customer SupportQuality Liaison with external contract manufacturing resourcesJob
Responsibilities:
Generate and/or support development of test procedures for researching prescribed test objectivesMaintain best practices in implementing test procedures to ensure test result accuracyDocument test results in organized formats that optimize analysis of resultsAnalyze test results and develop conclusions related to prescribed test objectives.
Maintain equipment, equipment calibration and tools and facilities necessary to support product testing.
Troubleshooting and diagnosis to identify root causes of product defects identified through customer returns.
Support ideation and validation of component, assembly and product development.
Support product reviews for product safety compliance - internally and with product safety agencies.
Maintain company records involving product safety compliance.
Engage with customers to diagnose field issuesResponsible for quality communication with external contract manufacturing and related record keeping Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferred engineering disciplines include Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Industrial Automation.

years of hands-on engineering experience.
Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrated knowledge of electromechanical and electronic component principles and operation including printed circuit board components.
Demonstrated knowledge of test equipment and tools typically used in testing of electromechanical components and systemsAbility to develop test procedures for researching prescribed objectives and procure and/ or develop equipment/fixtures required for test completion.
Ability to organize and document test results to optimize analysis of data and develop conclusions related to prescribed test objectives.
Proficiency with MS Excel, and Word to generate test reports including formulas, charts, graphs, tables as necessary to document and organize technical data.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
