The Director of Marketing is one who values Orbus success and has a strong desire for autonomy in managing the brand strategy and marketing programs of two business divisions Orbus and Nimlok.
This position is a marketers dream and offers the opportunity to collaborate with the VP of Marketing, a fantastic marketing team, manage four direct employees and a variety of marketing projects digital and website projects, creative collateral projects, thought leadership and lead generation campaigns, email, social media, advertising programs, event planning and more.
The ideal candidate will have an impressive portfolio showing quantitative and qualitative results of marketing programs and campaigns, high-level design of digital pieces, website content, email blasts, social media posts, presentations, printed projects and more.
Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation, visual & written identity, and execution of all projects for the Orbus and Nimlok brands Expert understanding of brand/identity development as this role functions as brand leader, content manager/steward/owner/creator and will spearhead brand vision, marketing strategy, the development of campaigns with brand continuity Responsible for two important facets of each brands program a) building/maintaining/evolving a sales & marketing toolkit for distributor adoption and business development b) maintain/develop/enhance marketing programs that build dealer and prospective dealer awareness, interest & education and drive sales conversion and wallet share growth Works with team to design and develop creative materials, branded campaigns, social media assets, digital, printed and sales, marketing and presentation tools, educational videos and more Collaborates with team to develop concepts, revise, edit, and refine creative work, and to constantly push the level of creative output Creates content for & drives campaigns in effort to grow, expand and remain competitive through building brand awareness, driving traffic to website (via organic, paid, email & social channels), generating leads and revenue Enriches dealer and end-user audiences through continuous list building efforts Creates presentations for internal communications, dealer and internal sales team training, and anything else our clients or new business development needs demand Leads client and internal creative review meetings, professionally and enthusiastically presenting the teams work, persuasively explaining rationale, collecting, and absorbing feedback, and offering solutions Works with the team in problem-solving, innovation, and creative thinking rooted in strategy Builds and maintains positive relationships with teammates, clients and internal stakeholders Manages, executes, and monitors a variety of projects/programs related to the brand Creation & maintenance of annual strategic plan & program budget/expenses Creation, maintenance of tactical plans and calendars/campaigns for Email, PR, social media, Video, Advertising (print/digital), Events Copywriting, editing of email communications, PR, social posts, brochure/catalog/collateral copy, product descriptions, web pages & sales tools Project manages team, content/tool & asset creation for campaigns & is instrumental in planning for and executing successful new product introductions collateral development, digital assets, web pages, communications, product databases & more Monthly program metric data tracking & analysis for continual improvement of website(s) performance, SEO rankings, audience engagement with emails, media response to PR, audience engagement to social posts & ads, engagement at events & lead generation across programs Monthly program analysis for lead conversion tracking and valuation Routine program analysis for improvements in tactics, messaging, calls to action, investments Research:
Competitive research & industry trend monitoring, analysis & key takeaway establishment; voice of customer surveys & data analysis for continuous improvement and influence in program Education &
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or Business Communications Min.
8-10 years of experience in B2B marketing preferred Adept at developing sales and marketing tools & marketing programs designed to foster business growth, value and make it easy & desirable to do business with the company Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Platforms, Google (Analytics, AdWords, My Business, Tag Manager) Solid experience in in 2D Graphic Design & proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator Proficiency adding/editing content in website CMS and with Marketing Automation software HubSpot Experience with SEO software and list building software/partners Experience marketing to distributors a PLUS Traits:
Demonstrates passion, drive and excitement for marketing, lead generation and sales.
Excellent writing, planning, organization, project management and communication skills are a must.
Must enjoy digging into the day-to-day work, collaborating directly with marketing team to create the best sales and marketing tools, content and campaigns possible.
Strong team player and someone who is resourceful in partnering with others to strive for results, works and collaborates well in a team environment.
