Job DescriptionFinancial Shared Services is looking for a Financial Analyst with analytical rigor and critical thinking skills to drive our business operations forward.
As a member of our Financial Services team, you will develop and analyze insightful data driven reporting focused on identifying opportunities to optimize cash flow, efficiency, and customer experience.
This includes quantifying and addressing customer deduction root causes and leading cross functional Kaizen's and projects.
This position will also create and maintain KPI dashboards to measure team performance against key objectives and highlight enhancement opportunities.
You will play a key role in mining and organizing data to develop insightful reporting and implementing financial strategies to achieve department objectives.
You will support business partners including Accounting, Supply Chain, and Audit functions.
Key AccountabilitiesMine and organize data to design reporting which will identify root causes of profit leakage within the order-cash cycle and procure-to-pay cycles.
This includes customer deductions, credit memos and supplier pre-payments.
Facilitate cross functional teams to implement solutions, establish critical success factor metrics, and monitor performance against metrics.
monitorDesign and manage performance KPI dashboards for team.
Continually evaluate formats to insure optimal visibility to performance gaps and opportunities.
Support counter measures as needed.
Assist with implementing and optimizing automation tools.
Collaborate with Accounting, Audit, Supply Chain, and Commercial Finance members to provide insight into accounting effect of transaction processing.
Assist with the month-end close and reporting processesAnalyze and provide support for forecasting - actual vs forecasted.
Periodic checks on NCOB paperwork.
Leads and assists in analysis of special projects and performs ad-hoc requests Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 1 year of accounting/finance experience.
This includes extensive work organizing data to drive and measure performance impacting actions.
Strong verbal/written communication skills and be able to clearly communicate issues and work with others to solve problemsSix Sigma certification a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office application and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables, macros, and dynamic formulasDemonstrated business acumen and understanding of processes to facilitate continuous improvementOracle and D365 experience a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
