Continuous Improvement Manager
Flexco,a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager, to lead and facilitate team efforts within a company-wide Lean Six-Sigma initiative.
The chosen candidate will work out of our Downers Grove facility, and be responsible for execution of strategic objectives, centered around the improvement of operations processes, productivity and product quality.

Purpose:
Facilitate, lead, and educate structured problem-solving methodologies within operations process improvements, to increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce the work-in-process, and improve process flow and efficiency.
Perform functions to provide leadership and technical support on projects that support Flexco's vison and values.
Education Requirements:
Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification preferred Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field Master's degree or MBA Preferred Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years' experience Project management experience Competency Requirements:
Strong understanding of business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis/RCPS tools and concepts Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with continually changing objectives/priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead teams to success with limited levels of authority across all levels of the organization.
Proven facilitation, influencing and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the continuous improvement function within the site to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
Identify opportunities and drive incorporation of appropriate Lean tool usage such as 5S, time study, line balancing, standard work, material flow and value stream mapping, process mapping and Kaizen event into the daily functions of continuous improvement.
Oversee various projects targeted at improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Track, measure, and report on the progress of Continuous Improvement initiatives within the organization against set targets/goals Lead Continuous Improvement team members to achieve company goals by actively managing team performance using data and performance measures.
Use formal and informal feedback to provide teams with leadership, support and guidance.
Completes capacity analysis internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools that leads to optimization of resources.
Lead initiatives to further digital transformation and Industry 4.
0 adoption through developing and standardizing data collection, visualization, and reporting across operations.
