Summary:
Manages strategic marketing plans for e-commerce, direct to consumer, and retail marketing segments and product lines to create and deliver superior customer satisfaction and loyalty while simultaneously providing long-term growth, profit, and value to the company.
Plans and delivers business objectives, goals, budgets, and action plans in e-commerce channel marketing, including programs, promotions, paid media campaigns, best-in-class content merchandising, literature, communications, and training.
Responsible for managing e-commerce portion of the overall Marketing budget to drive consumer engagement, acquisition, and conversion through digital marketing tactics.
Responsibilities:
Manages e-commerce retailer channel strategy and develops yearly-integrated marketing plans inclusive of target market identification, competitive analyses, merchandising, incentive programs, and promotional plans, selling and merchandising tools.
Creates, manages, and executes promotional programs/analysis and customer specific marketing campaigns, including virtual product bundle creation and analysis.
Responsible for ecommerce content planning for existing portfolio and new product launches for residential and commercial avenues; Audit content on ecommerce partner sites for optimizations relating to layout, images, graphics, video, copy, brand page, supporting documents, etc.
Optimize existing content for SEO for both copy and rich content for partner sites and Identifies and directs the development of retail communication, literature, merchandising tools, training aides, and customer presentations.
Works with Product Marketing and sales to conduct customer and competitor research and analysis, identify new product, service, and solution requirements, develop new product roadmaps and specifications, and develop/execute new product launch plans.
Includes management of Price Spider tool and collaborating with sales and product teams on pricing optimization opportunitiesIdentifies leads in existing e-commerce retail channel and drives sales and marketing campaigns that lead to the qualification and account generation of those leads to create, implement and manage strategy to meet and exceed plan.
Oversee in-house PIM/PCM tool for Elkay and partner accounts.
Fully manages partner site paid media strategies, including campaign setup and management, A/B testing, and budget management and trackingReports weekly and monthly on KPIs and uses insight to improve campaign performanceUse Amazon vine and Bazaarvoice to execute review programs and needs across retailersApply test & learn approach to paid media using analytics to guide plan optimization; analyze and report key performance metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basisPartner with internal and external agencies to develop content for the e-commerce and digital channelBuild overall marketing scope and strategy for the D2C part of the business.
Partner with internal creative, IT, and sales team to drive results and growth goals for the channel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, analytics, or related studies is required; MBA preferredMinimum of 7 years in Channel marketing and sales, with solid experience in consumer durable products and e-commerce.
Experience in managing new product development initiatives or launchesMust have proven experience working in a cross functional environment with product, engineering, operations, marketing and sales.
Prior supervisory & budget experienceAble to travel up to approximately 20% of timeSelf-reliant and results oriented; Works independently, driven, high sense of urgency, takes initiative, gets the job done.
