PM (2nd shift) Distribution Leader

Summary Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in various Distribution activities. The leader will establish the tone and coordinate all priorities of the shift along with these duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
XAssesses staffing needs, equipment, and works with p.m. Distribution to ensure all activities are being completed.
XConducts daily fresh inventory of products on the shipping dock and ensures that counts are 100% accurate.
XWorks with scheduling to determine proper qty of bread varieties that need to be ordered for that evening, as well as communicate any product shortages or overages.
XInterprets schedules, memos, and other documents and assigns duties to complete production or other essential tasks.
XEvaluate employees and coach them on performance requirements relating to the full scope of the department goals as they relate to their position. This includes enforcement of policies and procedures as well as performance evaluations
XInsures all SQF, HACCP, CTS, Safety, Hygiene and Calibration standards are adhered to.
XCommunicates thoroughly with the previous shift each day to discuss safety, equipment, or product issues, personnel problems, unfinished task workload, special requests or requirements, crewing shortages, schedule changes or any situation requiring attention.
XMust obtain a CDL license and become a qualified tractor trailer driver following all the specific D.O.T. requirements.
XResponsible for the overview of all freezer and receiving employees on the p.m. shift. They are to be part of the overall safety mission of the shift and included in all meetings regarding safety.
XConducts job specific training for new/existing employees in all plant programs. Will work with JIT and all other plant programs to effectively transition employees into their new role.
XDirects workers in adjusting machines, process and equipment to meet product standards.
XAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
XMaintains time and processes shipments. Inputs data in Production Reporting Database, Kronos, and SAP software.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly leads up to 10 employees in the Distribution Department. Carries out Leader responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
