PSI Resources, a leading Chicagoland staffing firm, has an immediate opening for a talented, driven and junior-level Marketing/Communications graduate. The recent college graduate will serve as a paid intern, assisting PSI in both its marketing and recruiting efforts.
For over 20 years, PSI Resources has effectively filled temporary, temp to hire and direct hire openings for some of the most prestigious companies in the greater Chicago area. Our Recruiters meet immediate business demands while strategically addressing the needs of our clients. There is simply no substitute for proven expertise, insight, and methodology, and as a result PSI has maintained 10
year relationships with many Fortune 500 clients.
The paid intern will be shadowing Sales and Recruitment professionals who are at the forefront of our company?' growth. Undoubtedly, this is through and through a sales role. Our staff build their own client business relationships, seek their candidates and manage the recruiting process from the moment they introduce themselves to the client to the moment they close the deal with their candidate. To be successful in this role you should be persuasive yet personable, resilient, career oriented, and most of all driven to succeed. Position Overview:
The selected individual will be trained to:
Independently identify, source and contact candidates for open positions utilizing a variety of sources including job boards, LinkedIn, asking for referrals, etc.
Coordinate candidate phone screens and face-to-face interviews in our office
Interview a wide variety of candidates to determine skill set, personality traits, reliability, preferences and suitability for specific positions.
Identify, contact and establish a rapport with a large number of hiring managers who utilize staffing firms, working with a wide variety of Chicago area companies.
Perform market research for the industries you recruit within (including Accounting, Marketing, Administrative, HR, Legal, Information Technology, etc)
Adhere to HR employment regulations
Requirements:
Bachelors? Degree in Marketing or Communications
GPA of 3.0 or higher

Year of proven success in a sales position
Good Research and Computer Skills
You must be comfortable working in a true ?work hard, play hard?, fast paced culture!
