The job requires basic understanding of radio frequency fundamentals and understanding of RF design and optimization activities for a wireless service provider.
The job requires performance of routine tasks under close supervision with specific instructions on required tasks and expected results.
Engineer (RF I) responsibilities include, but not limited to--site data collection and data verification, Parameter Audit and checks through database and OSS queries, Data analysis and Compliance Verification and providing recommendations as well as generating reports.
The job requires performance of routine tasks under close supervision with specific instructions on required tasks and expected results.
Perform RF Parameters and Site Data Collection from company databases.
Perform analysis in accordance with guidelines and standards set forth by T-Mobile and create reports.
Tasks include Data management, Data processing, Data reporting, Regular Market and Regional reporting on the project progress.
If needed, some RF optimization work might be required from the Engineer to understand the CIQ troubleshooting
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
A minimum of 2 years experience in GSM/UMTS/LTE, either in one or all of the activities mentioned in Job Description. Experience in RF, Data Management, Advance Excel skills required
Data Audits and Processing through Excel or SQL is essential. Nokia/NSN OSS knowledge a plus
Programming background and knowledge would be preferred.
BSEE or an equivalent degree with one year
experience in GSM, UMTS or LTE with Performance or Optimization background. Existing Interns will be considered based on their performance. Clear understanding of air interface of GSM and CDMA/LTE (LTE preferable)
Good computer skills and basic programming skills, able to work flexible hours, self- motivated and ability to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work with other engineering groups to identify overall network issues and identify solutions Preferred skills:
Experience in RF, Data Management, Data Audits and Processing through Excel or SQL. Advance Excel skills required
Programming background and NSN OSS knowledge preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
