Currently, our client is looking for an experienced Software Development Manager who is currently in a player/coach type of role and has remained hands-on in development activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead daily activities for the development team including performance management, objective setting, etc. Ensure that technology projects are successfully executed including minor functional releases, major products and support/maintenance releases Provide project leads with support and guidance regarding project issues Collaborate with third parties to understand product direction in order to support and implement where appropriate and to ensure the delivery of outsourced work and the resolution of application issues. Manage business proposals to establish standards of detailed investigations into requirements, scheduling, budgets and prioritization
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree 15
years of recent C+
development experience 10
years of development management experience managing nationwide/global development teams Recent hands-on experience doing Perl and Shell Scripting on a Linux platform Strong background leading full life cycle implementations within budget and on time Must be a hands-on manager with recent coding experience
