Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Territory Sales Manager to represent our Northern California market.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 - 5 years of successful outside industrial selling experience with a proven track record; material handling industry experience preferred
Must be willing to travel extensively (up to 60% overnight travel)
Proven track record of ethical behavior in all business relationships
Experience doing numerical analysis and application of business math
Excellent written, verbal, numeric and presentation skills
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Work experience which required problem solving and mechanical aptitude
Good driving record
Occasionally able to lift and carry up to 65 pounds of equipment. Job will include walking of conveyors and belt lines, standing for extended periods of time, sitting and kneeling to work. At times, working in confined spaces or working at elevated heights.
Position description:
1.Represent Flexco with a professional, knowledgeable, and positive attitude.
2.Call on all industries that use belt conveyors, such as mining, aggregate, agriculture, textile, food production, and wood products. Make contact with those who have the potential to use, specify, influence, or buy, in order to promote and sell Flexcos products and services. Seek out new opportunities and markets for existing products.
3.Conduct a significant number of in-person end-user calls to maintain contact, provide support, demonstrate products, and provide productivity solutions. Determine the end users preferred distribution outlet and then demonstrate and sell products to those distributors.
4.Meet ambitious sales and service goals, develop customer relationships, identify and design on target, value-added solutions to customers unique applications requirements. Prospect, qualify, and close business on new and existing accounts.
5.Manage territory expenses to maximize sales outcome for the companys expenditures. Report expenses in a timely fashion with necessary documentation for reimbursement.
6.Conduct sales and safety training meetings with end users, highlighting the value of the Flexcos products and services. Provide extensive on-site customer training covering product application, engineering, and maintenance issues.
7.Manage network of distributors in assigned territory; this includes making joint sales calls to end users promoting Flexco products and services and promoting the distributors ability to provide those products and services in a timely manner.
8.Train distributors and customers on Flexco products, installation, troubleshooting and service.
9.Work with distributors to manage their product inventories and supply product literature and samples to them as needed.
10.Evaluate the performance of distributors and select new distributors as appropriate. Conduct an ongoing review of current distributors strengths and weaknesses and seek out service support where required.
11.Maintain acute awareness of competitive products, personnel, sales channels, strengths and weaknesses.
12.Create annual sales and market plans.
13.Manage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with contact information for end users, distributors, and other key industry contacts. Record each contact in the CRM, and synchronize as required with the company servers.
14.Support internal Flexco functions in training, product development, field testing, field data collection, market research, etc. as required. Respond to market surveys and other requests for information from the Marketing and Product Management teams.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
