Central Planner, Supply Chain (Atlanta, GA or Downers Grove, IL)

Responsibilities
This position can be based in Atlanta, GA or Downers Grove, IL
The Planner will be responsible for supply and demand plans for suppliers and distribution centers. Responsibilies include updating and maintaining planning reports, and providing analytic support to facilitate effective supply chain management decisions. Manages all planning system data inputs, and their sources, to ensure timely and accurate plan outputs.
Validates reasonableness of supply and demand plan outputs, and conducts inventory optimization analysis and improvement.
Manages master data setup, and configures system planning parameters to reflect business rules and desired output; provides recommendations for improvements.
Interprets supply and demand plan outputs and provides analysis to support operational, tactical, and strategic planning by supply planners, promotion management team and product category leaders.
Manages the consumption of data feeds into planning system, performs automated auditing and editing and exception management of the data as needed, and coordinates efficient integration across all data sources.
Provides support in root cause analysis triage and planning process performance analysis, follows up on execution and issue resolution including forecast error and bias.
Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and customer service as a remote HAVI representative based out of the corporate office of an Atlanta, GA customer.
Develops and strengthens business relationships with all departments and levels of our customer, their supply chain partners, and the HAVI Corporate Office.

Desired Skills & Experience
University Degree (or equivalent) in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, information systems, computer science, business, or related discipline.
Direct experience with DRP/MRP planning systems tools and database applications required.
Direct experience with relational database models and creation of SQL queries required.

years' experience with planning, forecasting, or supply chain operations preferred.
Familiarity with Tableau or similar analytics / reporting software preferred.
Proficient in root cause analysis and conflict management skills.
Efficient time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to influence others.
Ability to process and action multiple, simultaneous issues; attention to detail.
