Director of Quality and Regulatory

Position Requirements:


  • Masters Degree in a related field
  • Three or more years of managerial experience
  • Computer knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. CPHQ, Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or Lean Six Sigma Willing to attend onsite and offsite department meetings and educational activities. Must be able to perform basic administrative director functions, participation in outside professional activities and maintain proficiency in department's software computer program
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks with a high degree of proficiency, such as articulating, hearing, viewing, and walking throughout the hospital
  • Available on a 24 hour basis and able to travel to corporate and community functions as appropriate
  • Flexible hours according to customer needs
  • Ability to work under stressful and difficult conditions

Purpose:

Leads and directs process and overall quality improvement activities that produce better patient outcomes and more efficient operations. Develops programs to review and evaluate patient care and outcomes. Implements a quality management system strategy and plans for a quality improvement function within the facility in collaboration with the administrative and clinical leaders of the organization. Tracks and presents results of improvement efforts and ongoing measures of clinical processes to management. Develops and implements organizational initiatives to support accreditation and regulatory readiness. Responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining and improving a well developed regulatory program including:
all elements of a fully functional quality management system interpreting all regulatory standards promoting continuous readiness and coordinate all survey operations. Leads patient experience measurement and analytical assessments that support an organization wide focus on providing an exceptional patient experience. Evaluates and implements strategies and initiatives that support the organizational focus on patient experience. Facilitates consistent messaging, training and measurement to create a patient centered culture. Serves as a leader for Lean Strategy development the deployment of Lean methodology change management and problem solving. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Develops budgets and is a good steward of resources. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

  4. Directs house wide Operations Improvement initiatives

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
